"Join the ACLU of Pennsylvania's Legislative Director Liz Randol for a round-up of the General Assembly's latest legislative session and what is ahead. Cook (Christ Community Church), Pastor Harry Euell (Faith Temple Ministries), the African American Concerned Clergy (Pastor Lamont Higginbottom Sr., President), the Prophet’s Roundtable (Bishop Dwane Brock), the Erie Branch NAACP (Mr. Gary Horton, President), the Urban Erie Community Development Corporation (Mr. Gary Horton, Executive Director), the Martin Luther King Jr. Center (Venue Host, Mr. James Sherrod, Executive Director), and Selena N. LOOK BACK
Dec. 2, 2011 - Erie Peace Initiative and UUCE hosts S, Brian Willson,
American peace activist Vietnam veteran, attorney at law, author, peace
activist. The Chautauqua County native is best known for having survived being
run over by a train during a 1987 protest against massive US arms shipments to
Central American wars. He would later learn that the Reagan administration's
anti-terrorism task force had deemed Willson a terrorist and the train
had been instructed not to stop. Willson was in Erie as part of his tour
of various Occupy encampments. Photos of the visit.
