Local products will see new supply chain between Erie, Crawford, Venango (YourErie) "About 100 local producers will have products at Edinboro Market in Edinboro, the Market House in Meadville, and Core Goods in Oil City... the three-store partnership expects to receive a $120,000 grant that will help create the transportation support and education to move products between the three stores. "

Sept 13 - Constitution Day Program: Plessy v. Ferguson   Robert H. Jackson Center Jamestown NY 9:30am. A Living Legacy. Plessy and Ferguson are descendants of the famous litigants in the case that established "separate but equal," which stood until Brown v. Board of Education. ICYMI: Mike Kelly blew a gasket over an opinion column by Jim Wertz, Erie Co. Democratic chair. published in the Erie Reader.  On 7/22 Kelly called a press conference during which he ranted incoherently and attacked local reporters and called on his opponent to condemn the allegations. The Erie-Times News posted an excellent overview of the presser, and provided video and audio of event and Wertz's response. The Erie Reader issued a  response to Kelly on 7/26.

Seriously, it really is and it’s probably in or near your community"    (Emptying My Brain blog) Chester Co. Rich Heiland blogger offers backgrounder on the national group that does indeed have a local presence.
