Feb 9 - Erie Green Drinks 6:30p.m. Brewerie at Union Station, Erie PA.  "A gathering of like-minded folk, interested in all things 'green.' Environmentalists, conservationists, activists, pacifists, tech-savvy folk into green technologies, renewable energy, and energy efficiency, are all welcome to join us for beverages and informal discussion."

Feb 15 – “Moonlight” (2016) FILM at the Erie Art Museum, Erie PA. Film starts at 7pm. At 6pm, the 2nd annual Erie's Voices program will showcase this year’s student documentary project followed by Q&A. 
Feb 16, 18 & 22 - "Newsies" (2016) at Tinseltown Erie. Inspired by the 1899 newsboy strike.
Feb 16 - Dr. Rosanna Reyes (IDEAS Lecture Series) Allegheny College, Meadville PA. Dr. Reyes will speak about creating more access to higher education for first generation students.

February 17 - Environment Erie Murder Mystery Event. Women's Club of Erie, 259 E. 6th, Erie PA. Open bar, gift auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres. All proceeds to Environment Erie.
Feb 18 – American Spiritual Ensemble Mercyhurst University, Erie PA. "Composed of some of the finest classically trained singers in the United States, the group strives to keep the tradition of the American Negro spiritual alive."

Feb 19 - "Allegiance"  Tinseltown Erie PA "Allegiance returns to cinemas nationwide for an encore on Sunday, February 19 at 12:55 p.m. local time. This date is the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, known as the Day of Remembrance, which marked the beginning of the forced relocation and internment of 120,000 Japanese Americans during WWII.

"Alfie Byrne is a bus driver in 1964 Dublin, whose heart holds secrets he can't share with anyone but his imagined confidante, Oscar Wilde. When he attempts to put on an amateur production of Wilde's Salome in the local church hall, he confronts the forces of bigotry and shame over a love “that dare not speak its name.” But the redemptive power of theater changes his life and brings his friends back to his side."

This is a public page for discussion about a march on Washington by scientists and science enthusiasts" Date and details still being worked out. FB page started Jan 25, already has over 300,000 likes. UPDATE scheduled for April 22nd.
