Dec 2 - Marshmallows & Music  Erie CPR: Connect and Respect 1201 East Ave, 11am-noon "Roast a marshmallow, enjoy some hot chocolate and sing-along with Saint Stephen and other Erie musicians in our collective effort to 'Save the East Avenue Bridge.' Bring a folding chair and a blanket and your smart phone."

Harmony PA "Join Marcellus Outreach Butler, Earthworks, and the Environmental Integrity Project for a discussion about the regulatory agencies' oversight of the natural gas industry that has become a part of our communities in the last several years. Review procedures to keep everyone safe, and walk in a group up to the ....the unsafe intersection at E. 12th and Rt. 290 (Bayfront Connector.)

Come prepared to ask challenging questions and make enlightened statements." Concerning pipeline that will go through Crawford, Erie, and Ashtabula Counties. Dec 13 - David Cay Johnston: The President and the Future of Democracy  7pm. "A presentation by Pulitzer Prize-Winning Reporter David Cay Johnston, followed by a Q&A. At the Student Union in the Jamestown Community College Collegiate Center, Jamestown NY. Johnston is a tax expert, frequent television panelist on CNN and MSNBC, and bestselling author of 'The Making of Donald Trump' Presented by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown. Event is free.

Photos related to the McBride Viaduct at 12th & East Avenue, and the citizen action that is trying to save it. The Viaduct provides a safer alternative for pedestrian and bike travel over the multiple train tracks and industrial and salvage stuff between E. 12th and Buffalo Road (about a half mile).
