The Ribbon Project at Union Station (2013)

The Ribbon Project was undertaken by Erie Peace Initiative starting in 2008, and was displayed in dozens of locations. Each ribbon had the name of a fallen US servicemember. (red for those who died in Iraq, blue for those who died in Afghanistan). The project did not represent fallen civilians, other US personnel, allied servicemembers, or those fighting on the other side. Some of those numbers were depicted in other events. The project is currently in the custody of Travis Lindsey. an Iraq War veteran who encouraged EPI to take on the project.
