Pa. officials seek public input on changes to state’s Environmental Justice  Policy   State officials will hold three virtual hearings — April 5, April 12 and April 28 — on the draft policy to gather comments from the public...The public comment period ends May 11. (State Impact/NPR)

Apr 16 - August Wilson Center to open first permanent exhibit dedicated to Pittsburgh’s most famous playwright    The first permanent exhibition dedicated to Wilson’s life will debut at the Pittsburgh arts center that bears his name.

"Her works are known for exploring the Liberian civil war and the Liberian and Grebo cultures, and for providing a voice for women. Despite mayor's order, Erie police officer was never suspended for kicking protester  "Erie Fraternal Order of Police fought suspension over May 2020 incident; city agreed to withdraw discipline, says document Erie Times-News got via Right-to-Know Law. DA rules Peter Spencer's Shooting Death Self-Defense  The case was brought to the PSP Heritage Affairs Section, which investigates hate crimes, web page here.   On 3/28 Spencer family’s attorney held a press conference  calling out inconsistencies with the DA’s statement and expressing their confidence that criminal charges will be coming down.
